Curiosity and Democracy: A Neglected Connection

Curiosity’s connection with democracy remains neglected and unexplored. Various disciplines have mostly treated curiosity as an epistemic trait of the individual. Beyond epistemology, is studied a moral virtue or vice self. frameworks, examined politically decolonially. However, all frameworks remain focused on individual rarely imply relevance to democracy. The present article departs from such explorative philosophically expand research scope in direction democratic theory. It highlights complex politics collective, rather than merely individual, desire for knowledge. I argue that should become key analytical category studying political attitude way life. Investigations multifaceted demos may enhance visibility ethico-political issues often escape curious eye citizens researchers.
